MyBluefield Website Development Program (WDP)
If you are a start-up or existing business owner in the City of Bluefield, you could be a part of the MyBluefield Website Development Program (WDP) to get a chance to receive a new or updated website for your business. The MyBluefield WDP aims to provide up to 25 businesses physically located within the City of Bluefield with an updated online presence as well as training and technical assistance to ensure website longevity, potential job creation, and future sustainability. 5 businesses will receive a new e-commerce website with basic functionality, 10 will receive a new informational/static website, and 10 will receive updates to their already existing website.
Small Business Success Center
Technical Assistance Program (TAP)
If you started a business on or after January 1, 2021, you can apply for financial assistance from BEDA's Small Business Success Center Technical Assitance Program (TAP). You can apply for up to $500 in assistance towards professional services you may need such as legal, IT, marketing, accounting, or other related services. The program aims to provide you with powerful tools and resources to create a sustainable future for your business.
Food Truck Incubator Program
On April 29th, 2022, BEDA and partners applied for an Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) POWER Grant to secure funds to launch a region-wide Food Truck Incubator Program. This is a collaborative effort with the following West Virginia counties: Fayette, McDowell, Mercer, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Summers, Webster, and Wyoming.
